Netflix Releasing First Ever Chinese-Language Series
By Erica Martin
In honor of the fact that the number of international subscribers has surpassed that of its domestic ones for the first time, Netflix has green-lit its first Chinese-language original series.
Directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Sam Quah and slated for an eight-episode run, Bardo (擺渡身) will tell the story of Ah Quan, an inmate who escapes from prison after learning his son is in danger.
